Amen isn’t just a pretty word we use to close our prayers. When we pray and say amen, what we are really saying is a solemn expression of our belief in God to answer our prayers. Translated from its Hebrew roots, Amen means truth and certainty. By saying amen, we stand in the Truth and conviction of our faith that God’s will be done.
