The name of her shop comes from St. John Paul the Great's "Letter to Artists". In it he writes, "The 'beautiful' was thus wedded to the 'true', so that through art too souls might be lifted up from the world of the senses to the eternal." She was really struck by this idea that art is the meeting of Beauty and Truth. But more than that, its ultimate goal is to point to God, the giver of all artistic talent.
