This September Kadi, the sole owner and operator of Kerygma Candle & Co. went into pre-term labor following a placental abruption, soon after delivering their little fighter Agustín Carlo Jose at only 28 weeks old. Due to his early entrance into the world, he has been undergoing care for the last three months in the NICU.

This adjustment and extended hospital stay has taken a mental and financial toll on their family as Kadi and her husband Juan have 4 kids to support.
