The Fleur-de-lis is an emblem resembling an iris flower historically associated with French royalty and independence. The popular french Saint, St. Joan of Arc,  used the Fleur-de-lis on her banner in the battle to free France from English rule. The Fleur-de-lis is beautifully symbolic of the Purity of the Virgin Mary, as well as the Holy Trinity.

A little disappointed

I really wanted to like these earrings because I was so excited that they were a stud design, which is the only style I wear. Unfortunately, they were disappointing. They seem pretty cheaply made and the backs are a very tight fit to the fronts. I have loved all the Rosary bracelets I have purchased.
